To become familiar with the layout, such as how to respond to someone directly, example: @ and then jahtez without a space, gives you jahtez, lets me respond to jahtez directly, otherwise your responses are to the thread itself. HELL - it will take me forever to get used to this format, hopefully some of you will get used to it faster than I will. Check your notifications as well.

Ok, second attempt didn't work either. I'm an idiot Never mind, it took some screwing around with... figured it out. Figured I'd edit the first comment to retry until I got it instead of ending up with an entire thread of my failure lol.

@country_Kat Your first try looks like it worked. No autocomplete feature though. Us horrible spellers will be in trouble.
**note** Looks like capitalization is also important.

Okay attempt 2 for me here @country_Kat is not the only one having trouble. Maybe @snowflake has some special system for making that work.

Third attempt using the WYSIWYG editor (accessed by clicking on the upper right of box where it says "reply") hopefully I can respond to @country_Kat and @snowflake using this system. I'm guessing the text will be blue when it's working?
Edit-- no dice for me. maybe regular users lack permissions to respond to specific users? idk. Neat site anyway, thanks Snowflake - i know these things are more work then most people realize and I appreciate the effort.
