Greetings all! Yea, it's me, good ol' GOT. Just checking things out. This looks interesting. I'm on a hiking site that is very similar. Hope it all works out.....so, when I'm posting a reply, I'm posting it to the thread in general, not to a particular person? Unless I specifically address them?

unfortunately this is the only way you can respond to someone directly and it is still not directly, this forum has it's flaws, and this is one of them, it is more for responding to the thread itself than to a particular person unless you want to scroll through all the replies to find whoever responded to you personally

not bad. might make the side conversations a bit challenging, but i think it can be made to work.

got jahtez ... to respond directly to someone or 'tagging' them, it seems you have to go through reply, click on the icon close to the top right that shows the @ symbol next to a little person and type their name in there. I attempted just doing @snowflake and it didn't work doing that through quick reply.

i do like the complete lack of any up voting/liking feature. i think those never do anything but encourage bad behavior for points.
